### System of Linear Equations- Raj Physics Tutorials

System of Linear Equation or Simultaneous Equation The solutions of system of linear equations provide one of most important practical applications of the theory of matrices.
In this blog , we shall discuss how the Rank method ,can be used to examine the problem of existence and uniqueness of solutions of system of linear equations.
Solution of the System A set of values of all unknowns which simultaneously satisfy all the equations, is known as solution of system of equation.

Consistent and Non- Consistent
If the system of equations has one or more solutions.  Then it is said to be Consistent system otherwise it is said to be inconsistent System of Equations.

Homogeneous System and Non- Homogeneous System

Non-Homogeneous  System-Solution Method-Rank Method

### Einstein Summation Convention || Triple Product Vectors || Alternating Tensor || Vector Algebra

Einstein Summation Convention || Triple Product Vectors || Alternating Tensor || Vector Algebra

Product of Three Vectors The triple product of three vectors A, B and C which will be explained are those of the form A.(B cross C) and A cross B cross C. other triple product such as (A.B)C etc.
A.(B cross C) is called the Scalar triple product  and A cross B cross C is called Vector Triple Product.

we may even write A. B cross C having bracket between B and C with understanding that the cross product is between B and C first.
Vector product using Alternating Tensor  we define using a Special Symbol.

According to the Summation Convention, when an index variable appears twice in a single term and it implies summation of that term over all the values of the index.

### Scalar and Cross Product || Vector Calculus || Mathematical Physics Free Study Materials || CSIR NET/JRF,GATE,IIT JAM,JNU,BHU,DU Physics Materials

Scalar and Cross Product These are the most important product of our physics because they are widely used in our all subjects.  so do not forget to cover this topic before you start your preparation. so here is the video and notes for this topic. i hope you will love it.

Dot or Scalar Product The dot or scalar product of two vectors A and B is defined as the product of their magnitude and the cosines of angle between them.
A.B = AB Cos(theta)
Here A.B is a scalar quantity.

Cross or Vector Product The cross or Vector Product of two vectors A and B taken in that order is defined as the AB sin(theta)unit vector.
A cross B = AB sin(theta) unit vector
where theta is the angle between A and B.

Vector Algebra || Vector Algebra Laws || CSIR NET/JRF, IIT JAM, GATE, JEST,TIFR,SET,DU,BHU,JNU Physics Entrance Exams Study materials We know that scalar and vector quantities are very important for every physics and maths exams.
Scalar
A quantity having only magnitude is called Scalar. eg.- distance, speed etc
Vector
A quantity having both magnitude and direction. A vector is represented by an arrow. The length of the arrow gives the magnitude of the vector and the direction of the vector.
Notation- it is generally represented by A vector or A.
Example- Displacement, Velocity, Force etc.
Adjacent Sides Two lines that meet at a polygon Vertex is known as Adjacent Sides.
